Photographers to start with

-
Tell us about the day
Date, place, roughly how many people and roughly what you want to spend. Once, not for every photographer you write to.
-
See who is actually free
We only show you photographers whose calendar is open on your date and whose prices start inside your range.
-
Message them here
One inbox for every conversation. They cannot see your name, email or phone until you reply to them.
Why couples use this instead of a directory
Nobody gets your number
A photographer sees your date, your area and your budget band — never your name, email or phone — until you choose to reply. That is enforced in the code, not promised in a policy.
Let them come to you
Turn on your wedding brief and photographers who are free on your date introduce themselves. Still anonymous, and you can switch it off whenever you like.
Reviews from people who were there
Only couples who actually booked through this site can review a photographer. Nothing is offered in exchange for one, because a review that was paid for is worth nothing to you.
We know the venues
We have written guides to 1,119 American wedding venues — where the light falls, which rooms photograph well. Your venue is probably one of them.
Let photographers come to you
Instead of writing to ten people, put up a short brief and let the ones who are free on your date introduce themselves. They see the shape of your day, not who you are.

Questions
Wait — how is this free for us?
Photographers pay to connect with couples who are a genuine fit. Nothing you do here costs you anything, and we never sell your details.
Will I get spammed?
No. A photographer cannot see your name, email or phone number until you reply to them, and everything happens in one inbox here rather than in yours.
Do I have to use the photographers you show me?
No. There is no obligation at any point, no contract with us, and you book directly with the photographer on whatever terms you agree.
What if nobody is free on my date?
We will tell you plainly rather than show you people who are not. Widening the date or the budget usually opens it up — those two rule out more photographers than anything else.
