Prices and packages

What a wedding actually costs

Guest count and how many hours you want covered move the price more than anything else. Most couples we work with land in the Classic range. Everything below is a real range rather than a headline figure with the important parts left out.

Guest count and coverage hours are the biggest price drivers — these are general guidelines, and we quote against your actual day. Send us the date, the venue and a rough guest count and we come back within one working day with a single number.

Corporate events · $450 to $40,000 and above

Licensing is in the quote, not in the small print

Conferences, launches, award nights, all-hands. The licence you need is priced into the band, so nobody comes back to you for usage rights later.

Band Range What it covers
Essential Coverage $450 – $4,500 Up to 150 attendees · one to five hours · one photographer · 80 to 350 edited photographs · internal or marketing licence · 48 hour turnaround at the top of the range
Professional Corporate $4,500 – $15,000 Up to 600 attendees · full day, with setup coverage at the top · one or two photographers · 450 to 800 edited photographs · marketing and PR licence, up to full commercial rights · 24 hour highlight gallery
Premium Brand Experience $15,000 – $40,000+ Multi-day, two to three or more photographers · same-day highlight gallery and same-day selects for press · unlimited advertising, PR and global commercial licensing

Attendee count and coverage hours are the biggest price drivers — these are general guidelines. Same-day and 24-hour highlight galleries are available from the Professional Corporate band upwards.

Everything else we photograph

Shorter things, flat starting prices

Engagement sessions, portraits and headshots, family sittings and corporate work — each with its own range on the enquiry form. Book an engagement session with your wedding and it is usually included.

Engagement session

from $350

An hour or two, usually somewhere that means something to you rather than somewhere photogenic. Included free in the Classic and Elegant bands from $3,500.

Family and portraits

from $350

At home or outdoors. We budget for the fact that small children decide how long a session lasts, and we do not ask anyone to say cheese.

Headshots

from $250

One person or a whole team, on location. Retouched to a professional standard and delivered with a commercial licence for your own marketing.

What is always included

The same in every band

Venue research before the day. A written timeline brief about a month out. Every frame worth keeping, properly edited, in a private online gallery with a print release — typically four to eight weeks after the event. We do not pad a gallery with near-duplicates.

Prints are separate, and they are yours to order

Cost plus 25 per cent, and that is the whole markup

Printing is never included in a photography package and it is never marked into the price of one. When your gallery is ready you can order prints, albums and wall pieces directly from it, as many times as you like, and they ship to you from the lab.

How paying works

Two payments, one date that matters

  1. A retainer holds your date.It comes off the total. On receiving it we stop offering your date to anybody else, which is why it is not returnable.
  2. 24 hours to undo any payment.Ask us in writing within 24 hours of making a payment and it comes back in full, with no conversation needed. After that it does not.
  3. The balance is due 14 days before. If it is still unpaid 48 hours before, the booking is cancelled and the date released, and the retainer is not refunded. We always say so first, more than once.
  4. Inside 15 days, there is no retainer.Book closer than that to the date and the fee is payable in full to hold it. There is no time to chase a balance that is already due.
  5. If we cancel, you get everything back.Every sum you have paid, in full. That is in the agreement, not a goodwill gesture.

Travel

We travel for weddings across the United States. Travel within 100 miles of a booking is included. Beyond that we quote the actual cost — mileage or flights, and a room if the day starts early — and you see the figure before you book.

All amounts are exclusive of any sales or use tax, which applies on top where it is due. Travel and accommodation are already inside the Luxury Wedding band.

Wedding photography prices from Zenithshots. Guest count and coverage hours move the price more than anything else, so everything is quoted as a real range.

Elopements and intimate weddings run from under $1,200 to $3,000. A classic wedding day is $2,500 to $6,500. A signature full day with two photographers is $6,500 to $11,000, and luxury or destination weddings are $11,000 to $16,000 and above. Engagement sessions start at $350, family sessions at $350, headshots at $250 and corporate coverage at $450.

How pricing actually works

Two things move the price of a wedding more than anything else: how many guests you have and how many hours you want covered. A quiet fifty-guest afternoon and a two-hundred-guest day that starts with hair and makeup are different jobs, and no single headline figure describes both honestly.

So every band above is a real range. Send us the date, the venue and a rough guest count and we reply within one working day with a single number for your day.
