About the venue guides
Our blog publishes working notes on photographing specific venues — where the light comes from, what time it turns,
which rooms are difficult. They are our own observations, written to be useful.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or speaking for any venue we write about. Venue names and
trade marks belong to their owners and are used to identify the place being discussed. Where we have not photographed
somewhere ourselves we say so in the article.
Venues change. They refurbish, change their rules, change their hours and sometimes close. Check anything that
matters with the venue directly rather than relying on a blog post — including access, permits, restrictions and
whether they allow photography at all.
Prices on this site
Price ranges are guides to help you plan. They are not offers and not quotations. Your price is whatever is in the
written proposal we send you.
Photographs
Images shown here are examples of our work and of venues. They do not promise a specific result: weather, light,
timing, the venue’s own rules and what actually happens on your day all shape the photographs.
